Springville photographer's work featured in exhibit '9 Two photograph exhibits at the Rio Gallery vividly reveal the craftsmanship of Utah's architects and builders. The exhibits also demonstrate the breadth of Utah's built environment by showing both pioneer-era pioneer-era houses and modernist buildings. Pioneer Springville photographer pho-tographer George Ed ward Anderson traveled throughout central Utah during the late 19th and early 20th centuries. During his travels he shot portraits of families outside their homes and also took general "environmental "environ-mental portraits." Architect Peter Goss has returned to many of those places and rephotographed them. His exhibit of both the original and contemporary contempo-rary photographs provides a look at change and continuity conti-nuity over the last century. The exhibit is open from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday through Thursday, until Sept. 19, at the Rio Gallery in the Rio Grande Depot at 300 S.
