These young people were the groups that make up Vivace, Singers and Concert Con-cert Choir. Students sprawled out all over the bus in a desperate attemDt to eet comfortable. Mrs. Burr is in charge of the production and she says that, "The hidden talent Springville High School students stu-dents have is exploding and suddenly coming out of the woodwork. There are so many people signed up to try out. "I don't know how we will ever whittle it down to the number that are able to perform per-form in the Talent Show. There will be student judges as well as faculty judges. Auditions Au-ditions will be judged based on appeal to students, true talent, and variety. Around 7 a.m., we unloaded un-loaded in Barstow to eat breakfast and freshen up in the McDonalds bathroom. I'm sure they wish they would have seen us coming! " After filling our stomachs and brushing our teeth we headed straight to our first clinic at Redlands High School. After lunch and a little lit-tle down time at a park, we then went straight on to California Cali-fornia State University at San Bernardino where we had the pleasure of working . with Dr. Andy Crane, former choir director of Provo High School and former conductor of BYU Women's Chorus. This extremely talented instructor in-structor gave the choir some great ideas to "fine tune" their technics. Several students stu-dents were feeling under the weather but when it came time to step up to the plate, they sang their hearts out! . On Friday, we traveled to Pasadena City College where we performed for and received re-ceived instruction by Dr. Don Brinegar. Mrs. Crockett and Ms. Kinghorn were not even exempt from receiving instruction from this fine clinician.
