I Mrs. Loyd Bird left Saturday to spend a week with her sister and other relatives and friends in Los Angeles. Mr. and Mrs. Richard Oakley left Saturday for San Francisco, where Mr. Oakley, who has joined the navy, expects to be located for some time. They were accompanied accompan-ied by Mrs. Melvin Dalby, who will spend the week in San Francisco and Oakland. Mr. and Mrs. John Workman and family of Salt Lake City, were Sunday guests of Mr. and Mrs. John Miller. m m Mr. and Mrs. Bryan Bird and three daughters of Midvale, were guests Friday evening at the home of Mr. and Mrs. W. A. Bird. Mr. and Mrs. Dick Rothwell of Leslie, Ida.', visited during the week-end with friends and relatives rela-tives here. Byron Hardy spent several days of the past week with his sister, Mrs. Finley Roylance, and other relatives and friends in Springville. He is stationed at the naval training train-ing station at Farragut, Ida. ' Mrs. Theodore Hatch of Provo is visiting her daughter, Mrs. David Green, of Jacksonville, Fla. Mr. Green, a U. S. naval officer, has returned re-turned to the Solomon Island region, re-gion, following a visit with his family in Florida. Beatrice Smith, who is employed employ-ed in defense work at Ogden, visited visit-ed Monday with relatives and friends in Springville. Among relatives here for the wedding of Eva Crandall were: Mr. and Mrs. Harold R. Williams and family of Mesa, Ariz.; Mr. and Mrs. Martie Crandall of Twin Falls, Ida.; Mr. and Mrs. Lee W. Crandall, Jerome, Ida.; Mr. and Mrs. Richard Rothwell, Leslie, Ida.; Mrs. Edith Merrill and daughter, Marlene, of Arco, Ida.; and Mr. and Mrs. Ellis Robinson of Torrey. |
