Show Couple Wed Tuesday In S. L. Temple r At home to their friends are Mr. and Mrs. J. Edward Porshee, married Tuesday evening in the Salt Lake temple. Mrs. Forshee is the former Annie B. Fox, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John A. Fox of this city, and Mr. Forshee is a son of Mr. ami Mrs. W. K. Forshee of Provo. The ceremony was performed by David A. Broadbent of the temple presidency, in the presence of the immediate family members. Mr. and Mrs. Fox, Mr. and Mrs. Rulon Fox, and Margaret Fox, witnessed the marriage. The young couple were guests of honor following their marriage at a wedding dinner given by Margaret and Cleon Fox, sisters of the bride, in Salt Lake. A beautiful beauti-ful wedding cake centered the dining din-ing table, and guests present in addition ad-dition to members of the wedding party were: Mr. and Mrs. W. K. Forshee, Kenneth Forshee, Merlyn and Lula Fox. The bride's wedding gown was of white silk brocade. The couple are making their home in SpringviUe. OLD FRIENDS CLUB MEMBERS WERE GUESTS of Mrs. Blanch Tipton Friday evening, eve-ning, at the last regular club meeting meet-ing until September. The group enjoyed a delicious luncheon early and later played cards. High score prizes went to Mrs. Florence Christensen of Spanish Span-ish Fork, a guest of Mr,s. Muriel Robertson. Mrs. Thelma Cherring-ton Cherring-ton received the consolation. Mrs. Susie Allred of Spanish Fork and Mrs. Marvel Anderson were also special guests. During the club party the birthday birth-day of Mrs. Eleanor Pennington was remembered. |
