He is a son of Howard How-ard Smith of Springville and Mrs. Gertrude Spendlove of Ogden. Immediately after the ceremeny, members of the wedding party were guests at a wedding dinner in Salt Lake and the following evening, eve-ning, the bride and groom were honored at a reception in the Second-Eighth ward church. A white embroidered tulle over satin gown designed princess style with scalloped neckline, long pointed point-ed sleeves and full skirt, was chosen by the bride for. the all-important all-important date. Her veil of tulle was arranged to a scalloped crown studded with seed-pearls. She carried car-ried a bouquet of pink rose-buds and stephanotis centered with an orchid. Attending as maid of honor was Karen Peterson, while Nadine Murray, a sister; Evelyn Smith, Peggy Bingham, Patsy Bleggi and Raenee Clayson were bridesmaids. They were attired in blue taffetta dresses and held bouquets consisting consist-ing of a white mum encircled with tiny chrysanthemums and yellow daisies. , Others in the receiving line were parents of the bride and groom, Mrs. Murray choosing a blue lace dress with white chrysanthemum corsage and Mrs. Smith pink lace 1 with similar corsage.
