New Mr., Mrs. Dennis Brown make home in Rexburq, Idaho A lovely wedding of the early winter season was that of Miss Laurie Sheffield and Dennis Brown which took place in the Salt Lake Temple and was followed fol-lowed by a reception in Kolob Stake House. The bride is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Erwin L. Sheffield Shef-field of Springville and the groom's parents are Mr. and Mrs. Leo Brown of Malad, Ida. The newlyweds are making their home in Rexburg, Idaho, and are continuing their education educa-tion at Ricks College. Laurie plans to graduate in May. For her wedding attire, the bride chose a floor-length gown of satin with empire waist accented ac-cented by lace and pointed sleeves and sweetheart neckline. Her veil of illusion was middle-arm middle-arm length and she carried a dozen talisman roses. Attending the bride were her sisters, Fay S. Pennock of Blackfoot, Idaho, and Nan S. Harrison of Vacaville, Calif., as matrons of honor, and bridesmaids, brides-maids, Carol J. Wilson, Springville; Spring-ville; Janiel Brown, Malad, Idaho. Ida-ho. Kathie Pennock, of Black-foot, Black-foot, Idaho, was junior bridesmaid brides-maid and Julie Sheffield, flower flow-er girl. Serving as best men were the groom's brothers, Jim and Boyd Brown of Salt Lake City. Matrons of honor wre brocade; bro-cade; bridesmaids were in gold satin and the flower girl in green lace. Their flowers were talisman roses with satin ribbon. rib-bon. Mrs. Sheffield chose a biege dress for the reception and the groom's mother, a gold-colored suit, both with mum corsages. Mr. and Mrs. William Pratt greeted guests and John Sheffield, Shef-field, Duane Paxton and Roy Brown were ushers. At the guest register were Linda Livingston Liv-ingston and Glenys Paxton. Ann Palfreyman, Gayle Whiting Whi-ting and Nanette Webster were in the gift room. Serving was done by Jane Blackett, Christine Anderson, Tamyra Swenson, Carol Fin-ley, Fin-ley, Joan Crandall and Elene Simmson. The 4-tiered wedding cake was of white with talisman color col-or trim. Besides local guests, those attending at-tending the reception included many friends and relatives from Idaho and northern Utah. |
