Show (ouple Wed In Home Rites Here, Aug. 22 A marriage of the late summer season is that of Miss Irene Jones, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lorin W. Jones of this city, and Howard R. Ewing, son of Mr. and Mrs. C. B. Ewing, also of SpringviIIe, which took place on Friday evening, August Aug-ust 22. The ceremony was performed by G. Ray Hales, bishop of the Third ward, at the home of the bride's parents. Immediate family members mem-bers and close friends of the couple cou-ple witnessed the marriage. The bride chose for her wedding attire, an attractive white eyelet two-piece suit with orchid corsage. She was attended by her sister-in-law, Mrs. Gene Jones. Grant Rob-bins Rob-bins was best man. After the marriage, an informal reception was held for members of the wedding party, and the couple left shortly after on a few days' honeymoon trip. They are now making their home in SpringviIIe. The bride and groom are graduates gradu-ates of the local high school. Mrs. Ewing has been employed at the local telephone office. Mr. Ewing is an ex-service man, having served more ' than four years in the Army. He is also a former student of the B. Y. U. |
