Show o - Spring Wedding Plans Announced By Local Couple 1 Mr. and Mrs. E. V. Crandall announce an-nounce the engagement and forthcoming forth-coming marriage of their daughter, daugh-ter, Loeen, to L. Neil Whiting, son of Mr. and Mrs. Bert Whiting of Mapleton. The marriage date is set for Thursday, April 30, the ceremony cere-mony to take place in the Salt Lake temple. News of the nuptial event was made known at a nicely arranged announcement breakfast given Sunday morning at 10 o'clock at the home of the bride-elect's parents. par-ents. A sister, Elaine Crandall, was in charge of arrangements. f Each guest was presented with an individual corsage corresponding correspond-ing with the centerpiece. Covers were arranged for Mrs. C. Vjctor Dover of Salt Lake City, Edna Nielson, Yvonne Child, Ila Clyde, Mrs. Wanda Holley, Carma Crandall, Cran-dall, and the guest of honor. After the breakfast, the group enjoyed games and social conversation conver-sation and also viewed the bride-elect's bride-elect's trousseau. Following their marriage, the young couple plan a few days wedding trip to the west coast. In their honor, a wedding reception will be held on Saturdav. Mav 2. On miniature white scrolls decorated dec-orated with gold wedding bells, the announcement was made, and tiny gold bells also formed attractive at-tractive place cards. A white linen cloth covered the breakfast table, which held a centerpiece of daffodils daffo-dils with white tapers on either end. at the Crandall home, to which invitations in-vitations have been sent to approximately ap-proximately 250 relatives and friends. Both are graduates of the local high school and seminary, and Mr. Whiting is a former student of the B. Y. U. They plan to make their home in Mapleton. |
