Show Lt. F. S. rice Marries Salt Lake City Girl 0) Of interest to friends and relatives rela-tives here is announcement of the marriage of Lt. Sterling Frederick Price of Camp Roberts, Calif., son of Mr. and Mrs. S. E. Price of this city, and Elaine Anderson, daughter daugh-ter of Dr. and Mrs. Glen Anderson Ander-son of Salt Lake City. The nuptials "were held in the Methodist church at Las Vegas, Nev., on Monday evening, January 19, with the Rev. Ford Gilbert reading the marriage rites. Attending Attend-ing the wedding were Dr. and Mrs. Anderson and Mr. and Mrs. Price, parents of the couple, and Bill Price, brother of the groom. A dinner at the Apache hotel, followed the ceremony, and the newlyweds left for a honeymoon to be spent at Carmel-by-theSea and in San Francisco. CULTURAL ARTS CLUB MEMBERS WERE GUESTS on Wednesday evening of Mrs. Theora Peterson at the home of Mrs. A. G. Peterson. Howard Salisbury entertained the t group with a review of the opera, "La Trovato," by Verdi, and also played a number of records. The group registered for work in national defense. Mrs. Carl Atkinson, Atkin-son, vice-president, was in charge of the meeting. A delicious lunch was served by the hostess to eleven club members. A BRIDAL SHOWER WAS GIVEN MRS. LEO SEIBOLD by her aunts, Mrs. Jack Martin, Mrs. Kenneth Allen and Mrs. Mina Llewellyn, at the home of her parents, par-ents, Mr. and Mrs. E. B. Ewing, on Monday evening. A large group of relatives and close friends enjoyed the time with games and a delicious luncheon. J The guest of honor received a number of beautiful gifts. |
