Show Springville 3Aan Weds Calif. Girl At Las Vegas i Of interest to friends and relatives rela-tives here is announcement of the marriage of Ralph M. Johnson, son of Mr. and Mrs. J. Ernest Johnson of this city, and Mildred May Cokely, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John W. Cokely, of Orange, Calif. The ceremony was performed at Las Vegas, Nev., Friday, March !3, in the presence of members of the bride's family. The bride was attired in a beautiful blue wool suit with matching accessories and she wore a corsage of gardenias gar-denias and lilies-of-the-valley. After Af-ter the ceremony, a wedding breakfast was given in honor of the couple. Following their marriage, the, couple came to Springville for a two-day visit with relatives and friends. While they were here, Mr. and Mrs. J. Ernest Johnson enter- : MR. AND MRS. MAURICE BHtD ENTERTAINED AT DINNER at their home Tuesday for a number num-ber of relatives in honor of visitors visit-ors from Idaho. Covers were arranged for Mr. and Mrs. Ed Williams, John E. Bowen, and Mr. and Mrs. Roy Creer of Spanish Fork, and Mr. and Mrs. Morris Creer of Bancroft, Idaho. WE READERS WERE GUESTS WEDNESDAY evening of Mrs. Helen Anderson at her home. Mrs. Alton Packard, in an excellent manner, reviewed tthe book, "Windswept,'-' by Mary Ellen Chase, to feature the evening's eve-ning's entertainment. Tasty refreshments were served in conclusion to thirteen club members mem-bers and Mrs. Bliss Childs was a special guest. tamed at a party on Saturday evening. The entertainment featured fea-tured games and a tasty lunch and the honored guests received a lovely variety of beautiful and useful gifts. The newlyweds left Sunday for Orange, where they will make their home. Mr- Johnson is stationed with the U. S. army at Orange, Calif.
