Show Couple Making Home in Salt Lake After Nevada Rites, Open House Newlyweds Mr. and Mrs. Reed H. Facer, married April 16, in Las Vegas, Nev., are now at home in Salt Lake City, where he is enrolled in business college. After the couple's marriage and,; honeymoon in Nevada, parents of the bride, Mr. and Mrs. Frank H. Clark, entertained at an Open House at their home on Eighth South street to which close friends and relatives were invited. The bride, formerly Miss Dar-lene Dar-lene (Billie) Clark was beautifully gowned in a pale blue lace, ballerina baller-ina length, and pinned a corsage of red rose-buds and gardenias to her shoulder. Others assisting with the receiving receiv-ing of guests were parents of the couple, Mrs. Clark and Mrs. Facer wearing afternoon dresses in shades of rose with carnation and 'gardenia corsages. The home was pretty for the occasion with baskets of pink snapdragons snap-dragons and white carnations throughout. The gift room was in charge of LaRae Underwood and Shirley Bona, while Norma Jean Holt was at the guest book. Welcoming guests at the door, were Mrs. Dorothy Brown and Mrs. Martha Proctor. Mrs. Florence Boyer and Mrs. Olive Miller were in charge of the serving assisted by Mary Catherine Cather-ine Martindale, Jeanine Watts and Norma Rae Simkins. |
