Show Miss Colene Lee, Ralph Larsen Wed In Pretty Autumn Garden Ceremony In a pretty autumn garden setting, charming Miss Colene Lee, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Lee of this city recited vows with Ralph Larsen, son of Mr. and Mrs Ernest Larsen of8 Lehi. The wedding took place Sep- i tember 10, with President Leo A. Crandall of Kolob Stake performing perform-ing the ceremony in the presence of immediate family members and close friends of the couple. Standing under the soft lights of the garden, the bride and groom made a beautiful picture. Her wedding gown was of ivory satin, street length, designed with a dipped dip-ped neckline in the back to correspond corres-pond with the dipped waistline on which was attached a fine pleated skirt. Purple accessories and an orchid at her shoulder completed her attire. Standing as matron of honor with the bride was her sister Bonnie Bon-nie Lee Bateman who wore an original ori-ginal sheath model of ice-blue velvet. vel-vet. Gene Evans of Lehi was best man to the groom. Adding interest to the garden arrangement and floral decorations decora-tions was the 3-tiered wedding cake trimmed in orchid and white centering a white lace covered table ta-ble at one end of the garden. After the reception, the newly-weds newly-weds left on a honeymoon trip to San Francisco and other points of interest on the coast. They returned return-ed Tuesday to make their home in Lehi. Several social functions honored the bride prior to her marriage, including in-cluding a delightful bridal shower given by the groom's mother, Mrs. Ernest Larsen at Parks Cafe dining din-ing room in Orem. Beautiful floral and table decorations added to the party attended by approximately 75 relatives and friends. Another nicely arranged party was given by Joan Warner and Janet Pierce at the latter's home in the form of a shower for about thirty close friends of the bride. |
