Accompanying Ac-companying them to the temple were their parents and the following fol-lowing aunts and uncles: Mr. and Mrs. Ersall Fredorickson of Prigham City; Mr. and Mrs. Arden Christonsen of Center-ville; Center-ville; Mr. and Mrs. Jesse Brin-kerhoff Brin-kerhoff of Clearfield; Mr. and Mrs. Jay Nictson of Logan; Mrs. Lena Wade of Salt Lake City; Mrs. James W. Hall of Provo anda grandmother, Mrs. George Kinsey. The marriage ceremony was performed by President Anderson of the Manti Man-ti Temple. A wedding reception was given giv-en for them the same evening in the Mapleton ward chapel where they greeted their many friends and relatives. Luan was beautiful in a gown fashioned fash-ioned of white satin and lace. The form fiting bodice was finished fin-ished with a Peter Pan collar and long pointed sleeves. Her Juliet crown was of satin and seed pearls and was attached to her filmy tip veil. She car- "uh 10 tiit; i-ied a bouquet of orchids and rose-buds. Mrs. Stevens chose to wear pink linen and Mrs. Franks was attractive in black taffeta. Each wore corsages of pink rose-buds. Jay Nielson of Logan performed per-formed the duties of best man. The matron of honor was Mrs Colleen H. Bushnell and bridesmaids brides-maids were Doris Ann Rowber-ry, Rowber-ry, Bornita Hurst, Yvonne Hurst and Norma Hatfield, who were all charming in pastel colored col-ored formals of lace over satin fashioned ballerina length. They each carried clever little umbrellas um-brellas of nylon net to which were attached bouquets of pink and white. The dainty little flower girls were Jane Thorpe of Castle Gate, who was pretty in yellow nylon and Vicky Fredereckson of Payson, petite in white nylon. They both carried car-ried baskets of pink and white sweet peas. Presiding at the guest book was Carolyn Everett and arranging ar-ranging gifts were Mary Ann Bradford, Carol James, Marcia I Davenport and Lana Eldredge. j Supervising in the kitchen was Mrs. Lena Wade and was assisted assis-ted by Mr. and Mrs. John J. Thorpe, and helping with serving serv-ing was Birda Craig, Wardell Bushnell, Margie Warren and Kathleen Bennett. Zeke Dorgan of Provo introduced intro-duced the fine program which concluded the evening. A piano solo was played by Carol Wood of Canada; a vocal solo was sung by Ina Lou Elison; Carol Halliday played a flute solo; a vocal duet was given by Karl Bodon and Jacqueline DuBois; a toast to the bride was given by Mrs. Bertha Durnell and a toast to the groom was given by Ersell Frederickson. The closing prayer was given by Don Rowberry. After a short honeymoon in Denver the young couple will make their home in Provo. They are both students at the BYU, Luan completing her second year in elementary education and music and Lewis, who has recently completed four years in the navy, is in his freshman year. Luan has been very active in musical circles of the University Uni-versity and is a member of The Madrigal Singers Group. |
