Show Couple Take Vows In Home Ceremony Wed In Home Rites ... A lovely home wedding last Thursday evening, "united in marriage Miss ReNee Packard, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Max Packard of this city and James I. (Jim) Taylor, son of Mr S- Gwenda Hafen, Miss Evelyn Gottffredson and Mrs. Joyce Henrichsen of Provo were bridesmaids. They wore ankle-length ankle-length pastel formals and carried car-ried matching bouquets. Larry Taylor, brother of the groom, was best man. Following the wedding ceremony, cere-mony, the newlyweds received their many relatives and friends in the garden of the Packard home, which was pretty with summer flowers and special lighting effects. Mrs. Arthur Condie, an aunt, of the bride, acted as hostess during the evening, while other aunts, Mrs. Ora Clyde and Mrs. Faye Gottfredson of Logan Lo-gan and Mrs. Coe Straw of Salt Lake City assisted Mrs. Jennie Smoot with the gifts. Mrs. Mildred Larsen of Le-' Le-' land was in charge of the serving serv-ing assisted by Mildred Hay-mond, Hay-mond, Jean and Marlene Stewart. and Mrs. J. Isaac Taylor of Spanish Fork. The nuptials took place at the home of the bride's grandmother, grand-mother, Mrs. C. F. Packard, with Bishop Leo Crandall of the Eighth ward performing the ceremony in the presence of immediate family members and close friends of the couple. Attired in a beautiful white lace over satin wedding gown, . the bride made a charming picture as she stood with the groom before the flower-banked flower-banked fireplace, lighted with white tapers in bronze candelabra. candel-abra. Her dress was ballerina length and her correspondingly short veil of bride's illusion, was arranged to her head with a coronet of seed pearls.
