Show Springville Man Claims Provo Bride InPretty Church Ceremony Aug. 8 Now at home in Provo at 885 West Second South v-Lare neuwlweds, Mr. and Mrs. Larry L. Gardner, lojireback from a honeymoon to the parks in $ Southern Utah and Las Vegas, following fol-lowing their marriage and reception recep-tion August 8, in the Sunset ward church at Provo. The bride plans to continue her schooling and the groom is employed in Provo. New Mrs. Gardner is the former for-mer Muriel Salerno, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ernest C. Salerno of Provo and Larry's parents, are Mr. and Mrs. H. Clark Gardner of Springville. The marriage ceremony was performed per-formed by E. A. Best, former bishop of the Springville Seventh ward and was followed by a reception re-ception for many relatives and friends. The bride decended the stairs of the chapel on the arm of her father and was met by the groom in a floral setting of yellow and white gladioli and palms with a double-heart entwined with flowers flow-ers and ferns in the background. The ceremony was witnessed by close relatives and friends. The bride's wedding gown designed de-signed and made by herself was of white embroidered tulle over tulled and satin. Her veil of net fell from a crown studded with seed-pearls and rhinestones and she carried a bridal bouquet of pink rose-buds and white carnations carna-tions with pink and white satin streamers. The bride was attended by her sister Anna Marie Salerno, as maid of honor and another sister, Margaret Salerno with Beth Roy-lance Roy-lance and JoAnne Knight were bridesmaids. They wore taffetta gowns designed with dropped waistline' in autumn colors of peach, lime and gold and their bouquets were of white gladioli and pink snap-draggons tied with , pink and white ribbon. Eldon Gardner, brother of the groom, was best man. Others in the receiving line were parents of the couple, Mrs. Salerno choosing a cream silk print for her daughter's reception and Mrs. Gardner, light blue print. Their corsages were all white. Ushers during the evening were Robert E. Clayton and Mac Salerno. Sal-erno. Music was furnished by Eddie Barn at the organ and vocal numbers num-bers by Mrs. Paul Smith, accompanied accom-panied by Mrs. Barr. Serving were Irene Amnions, Mrs. Beverly Harding, Midge Mc-Ewan, Mc-Ewan, Lelith Hanks and Karen Sperry. The serving table held a beautiful beauti-ful wedding cake three-tierd all white with dainty pink rose-buds and topped with a miniature bride and groom and wedding bells. Tall yellow candles were on either side. Arranging the gifts were Mrs. Robert Clayton, sister of the bride; Mrs. Ilene Huber, sister of the groom and Mrs. Eldon Gardner, a sister-in-law. Mrs. Phyllis Cassing-ham Cassing-ham was at the guest book. |
