T" " - - f I - i-y. i I Newlyweds Making Home Here Making llieir home in Springville are newlyweds, Mr. and Mrs. Rid iard Carter, Car-ter, who were married recently re-cently at Elko, Nevada. Mrs. Carter is the former Lou Jene Mountford, daughter daugh-ter of Mr. and Mrs. J. H. Mountford of Salt Lake City, former local residents. Mr. Carter is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Will iam G. Carter of Springville. Complimentary to the bride, was the lovely shower given by her grandmother, Mrs. N. C. Hicks of Provo and her mother, at the home of an aunt, Mrs. Louis D. Rasmussen in Provo last week. A pretty color scheme of pink and while was used throughout the entertaining rooms and the many lovely gills received Ly the guest of honor were arranged on a lace-covered table, under a dainty pink and white umbrella um-brella which was held by a beautiful bride doll. Also tiny umbrellas were used as luncheon favors. A musical program entertained enter-tained the guests and games were also played during the evening. I he bride and groom are both former Springville high school students. He was active ac-tive in athletics having played on the football team before his graduation two years ago.
