Show David Wayne Allan Introduces Bride at Wedding Reception Hearts and flowers were used in the decor of the Allan-Ramsey wedding held in the Maple-ton Maple-ton Ward Recreation Hall Wednesday evening. Edna Love Ramsey of Snow-flake, Snow-flake, Arizona and David Wayne Allan were married in the Salt Lake Temple on February Feb-ruary 20 and a reception was given for them in the Maple-ton Maple-ton Church on the following Wednesday. David is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Sylvester Allan Al-lan of Mapleton. A large tufted satin heart circled with flowers formed the back-ground for the bridal couple as they received theim many friends and relatives. The bride was beautiful in white appliqued taffeta fashioned with a bouffant floor length skirt and form fitting bodice finished with a sweetheart neckline. Her filmy veil fell from a dainty coronet crown. She carried a bouquet of pink rose buds and feathered carnations. carna-tions. Greeting friends with them were Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Whfar.er nf Prnvn. Mrs. Whfac- er was attractive in black velvet vel-vet adorned with a pink came-lia came-lia corsage. Also attending them were Mr. and Mrs. Sylvester Syl-vester Allan, Mrs. Allan choosing, choos-ing, aqua blue wool for her son's wedding. Her corsage was also pink camelias. As her maid of honor the bride chose her sister Georgia Ramsay who was charming in blue taffeta. Brides maids were Shirley Smith, Bonnie Broad-head Broad-head and Jeanne Allman all dainty in pink taffeta. Each carried heart shaped nose-gays of pink carnations. Petite flower flow-er girls were Sherry Lynn and Valerie Allan dressed in pink and carrying miniature heart shaped nosegays. i Dean Allan, brother of the 1 groom, performed the duties of I best man. Greeting friends at the door were Mr. and Mrs. Collin Allan. i Mrs. Dean Allan presided at i the guest book. Gift bearers were Susan Gar- diner and Peggy Singleton. ( David has recently returned I from an LDS mission in the Eastern States and is now in ( his third year at the BYU where he is majoring in physics. phy-sics. I His bride is also a student at the Y. They will be at home in Provo, where David will continue con-tinue his studies. |
