The Nemelkas have graciously gra-ciously offered to host the first of several monthly dinners that will be held to raise money for the new wing addition at the museum. O priBngville "Rain" a jazz piece on pointe that sizzles with synchronized movement was choreographed by Sara Thompson, a senior majoring major-ing in ballet performance and recipient of the William Christen-sen Christen-sen award at University of Utah. She had danced with LA Classical Classi-cal Ballet and with the Ruth Page Foundation in Chicago. The Academy of Ballet founded found-ed the performing company in 1999 to meet the needs of aspiring aspir-ing talented dancers. "It's a marvelous opportunity for them to develop the artistry that so wonderfully bespeaks ballet," says Lynne Thompson, Academy of Ballet director. Company members will also be dancing the leads in the upcoming "Cinderella" "Cinderel-la" in June and Springville's "Pioneer Legacy Pageant" at Spring Acres Arts Park on July 24.
