Fern Rowland Senior Oakeson, 82, of Springville, Spring-ville, passed away January Janu-ary 27, 2000. She was born October 17, 1917 in Springville, Utah to Bert Lewis and Sara Emma Binks Rowland. She married Max Bernell Senior on August 3, 1934. He preceded her in death in 1967. She then married Ray Oakeson Oake-son on February 18, 1970. Fern was a lifelong resident of Springville. She owned and operated Seniors in Springville for over 40 years. She was loved by all who knew her and came into Seniors. Se-niors. Her potatoes and gravy were the rave of the school kids at lunch-time. lunch-time. Fern loved traveling travel-ing with Ray and always looked forward to being Mimi B. Mimi B. Haynes, 89, of Springville, passed away January 25, 2000. She was born May 8, 1910 in Chickasha, Oklahoma to Willie Bell and Lula Mae Smith Miller. She married Harry Brumley who she later divorced. She then married Sam Haynes. Mimi was raised in Oklahoma and Texas. She and her husband were involved with the VFW for many years. She is survived by her husband of Ogden; one daughter, Helona Fischer of Springville; one son, Wendell E. Brumley of Ogden; eight grandchildren. 23 greatgrandchildren; great-grandchildren; nine and two great- Virgil N. Virgil N. Hansen, 88, of Provo, passed away January 31, 2000. He was born January 19, 1912 in Emery, Utah to Neils and Carrie Williams Wil-liams Hansen. He married mar-ried Edna Sheets in Long Beach, CA on September 6, 1944. She preceded him in death in 1996. Virgil served in the Marines during World War II. Virgil and his wife, Edna, owned and operated Park-Ro-She for many years. As part of the LDS church's Indian Placement Pro-' gram, Alzade Stevens came to live with them. Virgil was active in the scouting program and served as counselor in two bishoprics. When she was 82, their marriage was solemnized in the Provo LDS Temple Tem-ple on January 20, 1995. Margaret was a wonderful cook, loved to garden and was a cleaning clean-ing machine. She enjoyed en-joyed and loved her family. Margaret was very giving and her thoughts were always towards someone else before her own needs.
