Rhonda Arnold succeeds suc-ceeds Shelley Pollock as the Executive Director of Utah County Crisis Line-Information Line-Information and Referral Service. In 1979, Rhonda joined the Crisis Line as a volunteer lineworker. She served in this capacity for five months and then became vice-president in charge of training. Rhonda held this position for five months, after which she was appointed president of the executive board. She acted as president until June 1981. Rhonda remained on the line and continued working with the rape intervention teams. During her term as president, she attended BYU and majored in psychology. Rhonda feels that public awareness of available services has been and continues to be a top priority for the Crisis Line and Information and Referral Service. A vital part of making the public aware of services available to them is the Speaker's Bureau, ' which is prepared to give presentations to any group, club, or agency concerning services and community dilemmas such as rape, suicide, etc. Under her direction, Rhonda feels that these services will continue to improve and grow.
