L Richins Last respects will be paid Arlis Larry Richins, 32, today at 2 p.m. in the Berg Mortuary Chapel of Provo. Relatives and friends may call prior to the services. Mr. Richins died August Aug-ust 26, 1968 at the Veteran's Hospital of a kidney ailment. Burial will be in the Provo City Cemetery where full military mili-tary rites will be accorded by the Dean Mendenhall Provo Post No. 13 of the American Legion. He was born August 22, 1936 in Provo, a son of Orville and Pat Laird Richins. He married Carolyn Simmons July 20, 1960 Mr. Richins received his education edu-cation in Provo City Schools graduating from Dixon Jr. High and Provo High School. He attended Henager Business College in Salt Lake City for a time. For two years he served in Germany in the Army. After he returned to the U.S. he transferred to the United States Army Reserve Corp. In 1958 he was discharged at Fort Chafer, Ark., and returned re-turned to Provo. He became employed for Fakler Tire Company Com-pany and for the past four years he had been working for Mildred's, Inc., in Provo, and was secretary of the corporation. corpora-tion. He was a member of the BPOE No. 849 of Provo and also a member of the Alpine Country Club. He was a member of the Reorganized Re-organized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. His hobbies were golf, hunting hunt-ing and fishing. Survivors include his wife of Springville; two sons and one daughter, Deanne Richins, Steven Ste-ven A. Richins and Kevin A. Richins, all of Springville; his parents of Provo; his grandmother, grand-mother, Mrs. Martha Ellen Laird, Provo; one sister, Mrs. Paul (Carol) Paulson, Provo. |
