Show Services today, : Maplefon, for Birdie Nielson Funeral services are being ' held today at 11 a.m., in the Mapleton Ward Chapel, for Mrs. Birdie Faucett Jackson Nielson, 81, wife of Lorin Nielson, who died Monday, De- . cember 27, 1965, of a heart ailment ail-ment in the Payson Hospital. Friends may call at Wheeler Mortuary before the services. Additional services will be held Saturday in Sanford, Colorado, Col-orado, where burial will also be held. Mrs. Nielson was born March 18, 1884 in Cassandria, Ga., a daughter of Alphonso and Victoria Vic-toria Bailey Faucett. On Dec. 30, 1908, she was married to Oscar Jackson in Sanford, Colorado, Col-orado, and he died Sept. 15, 1925. She was married to Lorin Nielson, Jan. 15, 1942 in the Manti LDS Temple. She was active in the LDS Church, having served as a counselor in the Relief Society and in the Sunday School and MIA. She was also a Relief Society So-ciety visiting teacher and a member of the Mapleton Daughters of Utah Pioneers. Mrs. Nielson was also a member mem-ber of the Needle Craft Club. She moved to Mapleton in 1942 and had lived there since. Survivors include her husband, hus-band, Mapleton; three daughters, daugh-ters, Mrs. Grant (Jean) Hall, Mapleton; Mrs. Clayton (Lois) Peterson, Sanford, Colo.; and Mrs. Kenneth (Dorothy Sample, Sam-ple, Riverside Cailf.; step-children: Glen and Guy Nielson, both of Mapleton; Jay and Ivan Nielson, both of Springville; Spring-ville; Alton Nielson, Payson; (continued on back page col. 7) It- I -f .
