Show Funeral rites held here for Lee Taylor Funeral services were conducted con-ducted Saturday in the Second-Eighth Second-Eighth Ward Chapel for Lee R, Taylor, 80, who died Tues. evening:, December 22, 1964, of ailments incident to age, at a Provo hospital. Bishop Ray Cope of the Eighth Ward officiated. of-ficiated. Burial was in the Payson City Cemetery, directed by Wheeler Mortuary. Mr. Taylor was born March 8, 1884 in Goshen, a son of Zachariah and Nellie Olsson Taylor. He married Ada Done, Aug. 18, 1908 in the Salt Lake IDS Temple. She died in 1942. In 1944 he married Floss Harmer. She died April 14, 1964. He received his early education educa-tion in Goshen and Salem. He filled an LDS mission to California Cal-ifornia from 1903 to 1905. He attended Brigham Young University Uni-versity Normal School and taught school in Payson. In 1916 he graduated from Utah State University with a lachelor of science degree. He worked for several years as cashier for the State Bank of Payson and for many years w president of the Straw-krry Straw-krry Reclamation Project. He held many civic, Social jnd religious positions, includ-president includ-president of Nebo Stake for 12 years. Mr- Taylor had resided in Springvine for the past twenty years. Surviving are three sons and ne daughter: Howard B. Tay-or, Tay-or, New York, N. Y.; Ray L. i Taylor, Provo; Winston J. Tay-r, Tay-r, San Francisco, Calif.; Mrs Jfh (Ruth) Sterling, Reno, Nevada; six grandchildren; two freat grandchildren; two brokers bro-kers and three sisters: Angus yior, Salem; Roy Taylor, lf?v; Mrs. Vera Measom, pMlipsburg, Mont.; Mrs. Em-Jja Em-Jja Curtis, Burley, Idaho; Mrs. brace Wilcox, Chicago, HI. ; " - i I IV j . f ' La All J If6 R- Taylor, 80, for whom S ces were held Saturday. |
