Show Funeral held in Provo for Mrs. LeRoy Hardy Funeral services were held Wednesday, in the Berg Drawing Draw-ing Room Chapel in Provo, for Mrs. Effie Lenora Strong Hardy, Har-dy, 75, of Springville, who died Sunday, June 14, 1964, in a Provo hospital after a long illness. Burial was in the Evergreen Ev-ergreen Cemetery. She was born January 24, 1889 in Provo, a daughter of John and Maria Kerstena Nielson Niel-son Strong. She married LeRoy Hardy March 27, 1912, in Provo. Pro-vo. Mrs. Hardy received her education ed-ucation in Provo schools. She and her husband moved to San Diego, Calif., in 1940 and in 1950, moved to Monterry, Calif. In 1960, they returned to Utah making a home in Springville. Mrs. Hardy was a member of the LDS Church and was active ac-tive in the Springville Fourth Ward. She was also a member mem-ber of the DUP; and a past member of Ladies of Elks.
