Show Ladies Literary Club At Opening Program Ladies Literary club members were guests of Mrs. F. C. Packard at the opening meeting of the season sea-son Thursday evening. Mrs. Harold Har-old Christensen, club president welcomed members and guests in a short talk, followed by vocal solos by Miss Glida Ann Packard, with Mrs. Max Sumsion, accompanist. accom-panist. The topic for the meeting, "Should Communism Be Outlawed?" Outlaw-ed?" was given by Mrs. W. H. Brown with a short discussion on the subject following. Mrs. Eugene Johnson, program chairman, spoke on the year's program explaining the theme and other details and distributed the club books. Preceding the program, the hostess hos-tess served a well arranged lunch to twenty club members and guests including Miss Mary Boyer, Mrs. Helen Anderson, Mrs. C. G. Salisbury, Salis-bury, Mrs. Max Sumsion, Mrs Delia Sorenson, Mrs. Howard May-cock May-cock and Mrs. Ernest Boyer. |
