AH interest in the Women's bowling league will be focused on the Phillips vs. Texaco bowling match Friday night, since the winner win-ner of the games will be seated atop the league standings. As it is at present. Texaco holds a one-' one-' point advantage in league standings, stand-ings, but is being pressed hard by their second-place rivals. In the other matches Friday, Payzants will bowl against Spring Acres and Humphreys will match pins with Crandalls. Last Week's Results Phillips, and Texaco counted 3 points each against their respective re-spective opponents, Crandalls and Spring Acres in last Friday's grimes. Humphreys and Payzants tied things up with 2 points each. Crandalls bowled 1537 pins to the winner's 1553. Spring Acres fell a few pins short of Texaco, counting count-ing 1733 to the winner's 1767. Humphreys took high pins for the evening with an 1809 count. Payzants Pay-zants total read 1739. High bowlers for the evening in the individual single game score were Phyllis Humphrey, 162; Louise Weight, 157; and Bobby Stillion, 156. High Series scores went to Novella Humphrey with 434.
