Show FUNERAL HELD TUESDAY FOR , LOCAL WOMAN Mrs. Reefey Christensen Shep-pard, Shep-pard, 48 widow of Charles Lee Sheppard, died Saturday evening in the family residence here. She was born Aug. 30, 1898, at Oak City, Millard County, a daughter daugh-ter of C. C. and Mary Christensen. She received her education in the Salina schools and at Snow college, Ephraim. She was married July 1, 1920, in the Manti temple of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Latter-day Saints. Active in the L.D.S. church, she had lived in Springville Spring-ville since 1943. Mr. Sheppard died Dec. 4, 1938. Survivors include five sons and daughters, George L. Sheppard, Redmond, Sevier county; Pvt. La Verl C. Sheppard, stationed in Florida; Flor-ida; Erwin, Mary Lou and Joanne Sheppard, Springville; seven brothers bro-thers and sisters and her mother, Mrs. Mary Christensen, all of Aurora, Au-rora, Sevier county. Funeral services were conducted Tuesday at 11 a. m., in the Springville Spring-ville LDS Fourth ward chapel. Services Ser-vices were also conducted at 3 p. m. in the Aurora LDS ward. Burial was in the Aurora cemetery. |
