Show HOME CULTURE LADIES HEAR INTERESTING PAPER An interesting afternoon was spent by members of the Home Culture club last Friday when they were entertained, at the home of Mrs. Hugh Baxter. The program was featured by an excellent paper given by Mrs. Howard Thorpe on, "Rasputin And The Russian Revolution". Mrs. Orval Clark entertained with vocal selections, accompanied by Mrs. Maurice Bird at the piano. Mrs. Harrison Conover, club, president, pres-ident, was in charge of the meeting. meet-ing. At the close of the program, tasty refreshments were served by the hostess assisted by her daughters, daugh-ters, Miss Delia Baxter and Mrs. Ruth Nielson. Twenty club members mem-bers were in attendance. The next meeting of the club to be in the form of a Christmas Party, will be held at the home of Mrs. J. W. Grant on Friday evening, Dec. 20, beginning at 7 '-30 p. m., with Mrs Ronald Thorpe, assisting hostess |
