Show FORMER LOCAL BUSINESS MAN DIES IN BEAVER Word was received here Tuesday Tues-day of the death in Beaver of J. M. Nichols, a former local business busi-ness man. He died suddenly of a heart attack. Mr. Nichols had gone to Beaver Beav-er to engage in the garage business busi-ness similar -to that which he started in Springville some years ago. He was associated with a son, James Nichols, Jr. Mr. Nichols was born in Georgia and came to Utah in 1915. After a few years in Springville, he moved to Salt Lake City, working as a Ford representative throughout through-out the western states. He returned re-turned to iSpringville in 1925 and established an auto agency. He moved to Payson in 1930 and later lat-er was appointed as office manager mana-ger for the National Employment Service at Provo. In 1939, he returned re-turned to Springville to go into the automobile and garage business. busi-ness. He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Edna Amos Nichols of Pay-son, Pay-son, two sons and a daughter, James J. Nichols, Jr., Beaver; Marilyn and Robert Nichols, Salt Lake City; also one grandchild and a number of relatives in Georgia. Geor-gia. Funeral services will be under direction of the Masonic lodge. |
