Show KIWANIS HEARS TALK BY . SERVICE MAN Plans Underway For Hallowe'en Ladies' Night Party Oct. 25 The Kiwanis club members spent an enjoyable evening last Thursday when Capt. Richard Graham, who recently returned from overseas service with the 13th Air Force, told of his experiences. experi-ences. The Misses Virginia and Genevieve Gene-vieve Bird enertained with vocal selections. Also, two new members were inducted in-ducted into the club, bringing the membership to a new high record of fifty-five members. The new members, inducted by C. G. Salisbury, Salis-bury, included Lee R. Taylor, who recently moved to this city, and Finley Roylance, who was recently recent-ly discharged from the service. ! The appointment of H. M. Weight, Harvey Robbins and A. O. Packard to act as the election committee, was made by President Presi-dent J. W. Grant. Harold Christensen was toast-master toast-master for the evening and was also awarded the attendance prize. Plans for the next meeting, to be in the form of a Hallowe'en party, are now underway, with Mr. and Mrs. Blaine Thorpe in charge of arrangements. It will be Ladies Night, and a fine pro-, gram of entertainment, is prom-1 ised for next Thursday. Clarence Jensen, club secretary, also announces that within the next few days nominating ballots will be mailed out to club members. mem-bers.
