Show SERVICES HELD AT MAPLETON FOR MRS. E. JORDAN Well-attended services were conducted in the Mapleton ward Monday afternoon for Mrs. Emily Schramm Jordan, 65, who died last Wednesday evening at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Mildred Osguthorpe, in Salt Lake City. Burial was in the Evergreen cemetery directed by A. T. Wheeler Wheel-er and Son mortuary. Mrs. Jordan had been ill only a short time and had gone to visit her daughter in Salt Lake. She died of a heart ailment. She was born in Payson, Dec. 27, 1879, and spent her early life in that city. She taught school at Charleston and at Mapleton, and was married to Fieldin Jordan in June, 1906, in the Salt Lake temple. tem-ple. She is survived by two daughters daugh-ters and a son, Mrs. Osguthorpe and Mrs. Helen Marz of Salt Lake City; Lawrence F. Jordan, with the Navy at Norfolk, Va., also four grandsons; two sisters, Mrs. Lydia S. Carptenter, Manti; Mrs. Matilda Schwab and Ferdinand Schramm, Payson. |
