Show LL. DIAMOND SERVICES HELD Funeral services for Leonard Loris Diamond, 56, who died Thursday at his home, were held Sunday at 2 p. m. in the Mapleton Maple-ton chapel. Mr. Diamond was born May 21, 1875, in Springville, a son of James and Mary Ann Burton Diamond. Dia-mond. He married Harriet Lee Diamond, April 29, 1913. He spent his early life in Springville and received his education in the Springville schools. An elder in the L. D. S. church, he worked in genealogy at Mapleton for fifteen fif-teen years and was a member of the old folks' committee of Mapleton Ma-pleton for 27 years. Survivors besides his widow are three sons and two daughters, Harold, Lee, and Russell Diamond of Mapleton, Helen Black of Spanish Span-ish Fork, and Bessie Grittseff of San Diego; three brothers, Morris Diamond of Roberts, Idaho, James and Mark Diamond of Springville; Spring-ville; two sisters, Mrs. E. M. Davis of Salt Lake City, and Mabel Mathews Ma-thews of Techachapi, California. Burial was in the Evergreen cemetery under the direction of the A. Y. Wheeler and Son mortuary. |
