Show SERVICES FRIDAY FOR FORMER LOCAL CITIZEN Mosos R. Roylance, 68, for many years a resident of Springville, died at his home in Paul, Idaho, Tuesday, Tues-day, according to word received by relatives here. The body will arrive in Springville Spring-ville Friday and brief graveside services are to be conducted at 7 p. ni. Friday, at the Evergreen cemetery. Services will be conducted con-ducted at Paul, Idaho, at 10 o'clock Friday. Mr. Roylance was born in Springville, October 4, 1873, a son of Thomas and Philinda Cutler Roylance. He spent his early life ' in this city, moving to Idaho about 22 years ago. His wife, Pearl Bate Roylance, died 16 years ago this month. He is survived by two sons, Maurice Roy- I lance of Paul, Idaho, and Howard Roylance, with the U. S. armed forces in Australia. Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Zobell of Idaho Falls, spent a few days of the past week with the latter's parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. T. Wheeler, Wheel-er, and other relatives here. Don Bird, son of Mr. and Mrs. Arvil Bird, is at the Utah Valley hospital, where he has been confined con-fined the past ten days as the result re-sult of an injury to his leg suffered suffer-ed in a fall from a truck. Dr. C. A. King has returned to Springville following a few days trip to Maine, where he was called on account of the death of his father. fa-ther. Mrs. Marie Johnson of Wood-lake, Wood-lake, Calif., is visiting at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Maurice Johnson. She will be accompanied on her return re-turn by her two daughters, who have been visiting several weeks at the Johnson home. Mrs. Raymond Parker has returned re-turned to her home in Tacoma, Wash., following a two-week visit with relatives and friends in Springville and Salt Lake City. Her son will remain for a longer visit with his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. A. Y. Wheeler. She was accompanied home by a sister, Mrs. Marie Cranmer, who will visit her son, Joe, and also Mr. and Mrs. Parker. Mr. and Mrs. Rulon B. Fox have returned to their home in Salt Lake City following a several days trip to Zion, Bryce and Grand canyons. can-yons. They also spent some time with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. John A. Fox and Mrs. Blanch Beal in Springville. Mr and Mrs. Lewis Brandley of Raymond, Alberta, Canada, have been visiting the past few days with Mrs. Brandley's mother, Mrs. Olive Anderson, and her brother, G. Lowry Anderson, and family in Springville. Mrs. Brandley plans to remain about two more weeks. She will be accompanied on her return by a daughter, Margaret, who has been attending the B. Y. U. Mr. and Mrs. Bill Kling and daughter, Virginia, and Mrs. Clarice Clar-ice Copland and daughter, Dianne, of Los Angeles, Calif., are visiting Mrs. Copland's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Roy Cates. Mrs. Elizabeth S. Johnson is spending two weeks in California the guest of Mrs. Reese Thompson, and is also visiting her three sons, Lester, Elden, and Lewis Johnson. Marie Sumsion and Margaret Childs are spending a delightful vacation in California. They plan to return about July 2. mm Mrs. R. C. Taylor has returned to her home in Washington, D. C, following a month's visit with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ivan Child, and other relatives and friends. She was accompanied on her return re-turn by her daughter, Michel Ann. Mr. and Mrs. Creed Kindred and family of Provo and Mr. and Mrs. Earl Fifield and children of Heber City, spent Father's Day with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. John R. Kindred. |
