Show FUNERAL HELD SUNDAY FOR AGEDMOTHER Funeral services were conducted Sunday afternoon in the Fourth ward chapel for Mrs. Lucy Etta Breckenridge, 94, who died Wednesday Wed-nesday in a Salt Lake hospital of ailments incident to her age.. She had made her home in Salt Lake City for several years. Mrs. Breckenridge, mother of Mrs. Alva Zabriskie, came to Springville in 1903, and for many years the family lived on East Center street. Mr. Breckenridge, a G. A. R. veteran, died in 1922. She was married in Iowa in March, 1896. In 1870, the couple came to Kansas City and in 1875 moved to St. Johns, Kansas. She with her husband joined the L. D. S. church in 1897, and their home was headquarters for missionaries mis-sionaries in those parts for many years. Surviving besides Mrs. Zabriskie Zabris-kie are 12 grandchildren and 22 ETeat-grandchildren: Burial took place in the Evergreen Ever-green cemetery. |
