Holt Springville Man Dies of Auto Accident Injury Enoch Alfonzo Holt, 76, died Tuesday evening at a Provo hospital as result of injuries sustained in an automobile-pedestrian accident here January 10. Funeral services will be held Friday at 1 p.m., in the First ward church.' Mr. Holt had been confined to his bed in casts for a fractured frac-tured hip, pelvis and knee since the accident which also necessitated neces-sitated two major operations. He was born June 25, 1880, a son of Wm. Alma and Sarah Wardle Holt and spent his early ear-ly life in Wayne county following follow-ing the occupation of photographer. photog-rapher. His wife, Altha Elnorah Turner, Tur-ner, whom he married January 14, 1903, died July 6, 1956. The family moved to Springville Spring-ville in 1923 and had made their home at East Swenson Ave. A member of the LDS Church, Mr. Holt was an elder in the First ward. Surviving are 11 sons and daughters: Arvil Holt of Shingle Shin-gle Springs, Colo.; Mrs. Lyman (Thonna) Madsen, Colton, California; Cal-ifornia; Lloyd Holt, Boise, Ida.; Mrs. Arthur fVirdella) Hatfield, Charles (Lula) Shepherd, and Mrs. Evon (Valeria) Averett, Springville; 53 grandchildren and 26 great grandchildren; a brother, Aaron Holt of Orem. Leslie, Ida.; Mrs. Alton (Elnorah) (Elnor-ah) Morrell, Evanston, Wyo.; Ivan Holt, Loa; Ernest Holt, Tooele; Mrs. Morris (Golda) Menlove, Provo; Mrs. Richard (Myrle) Schultz, Provo; Mrs. |
