Show Former Resident, Railroad Man Dies in Salt Lake Funeral services were conducted in Salt Lake City Tuesday for Frank O. Haymond, 76, a former resident of Springville, who died in a Salt Lake hospital Saturday. Mr. Haymond had made a name for himself in railroading. He retired re-tired in 1945 and at that time was vice-president and general manager man-ager of the Bingham and Garfield Railroad on which he had worked 34 years. He was formerly employed employ-ed with the D&RG railroad and advanced with this company to assistant superintendent. In 1911, he became employed with the Ken-necott Ken-necott Copper Corp. subsidiary. Mr. Haymond was born in Springville August 10, 1876, a son of Amasa L. and Eliza Jane Bring-hurst Bring-hurst Haymond. He married Vivian Drew December 20, 1905.
