Show JUDGE FINDS DEATH THREAT I ' " . SAN RAFAEL, Cal.. July 15 ir.f' Judge Edward I- Butler, recipient esterday of a "death threat," today to-day appeared little worried as he busied himself with his judicial duties. The message was received at the same time that Vincent Lucich "peg leg gangster" and murderer of Melville Sturtevant, was entering the gates of San Quentin prison where he had been sentenced to a life term by Butler. Inclosed in the threatening lel-1 lel-1 or were two faded carnations and the lines: "Unless you free Lucich, these will soon be on your coffin. ' Butler' was undecided whether the note which also threatened District Attorney Greer and members mem-bers of the sheriff's office, was written by a crank or a revengeful revenge-ful person.
