Show SHORE'S BODY ; TAKEN HOME Son of Accident Victim Makes Arrangements for ; ; Funeral The body of Nathan Shore, Colorado Colo-rado cattleman who was almost instantly in-stantly killed in a train and auto collision at Vineyard Saturday has been tawon to Sulphur Springs, Colorado, by Lewis Olpin of the Olpin Brothers Undertaking company com-pany of Pleasant Grove. Mr. Olpin drove the hearse to the Colorado city. Accompanying the body were Mr. and Mrs. Henry Shore of Fruita, Colo., son of the accident victim, who arrived here late Saturday nfter having been notified Saturday Satur-day morning of the accident and death of his father. Mr. and Mrs. Shore figured in an i auto accident on Provo Bench Sunday Sun-day afternoon when they were on their way to Pleasant Grove. Although Al-though their car was badly damaged, damag-ed, they were uninjured in the accident. acci-dent. Bound For Australia According to Mr. Shore, his father 1 was on his way to Australia. The ' ' last two winters the aged man had spent in Honolulu, and this year had decided to go to Australia. He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Sarah E. Shore of Parshall, Colo., four sons and two daughters. When section hands cleaned up j the debris of the accident on the railroad right-of-way Saturday Fred Shoell of Pleasant Grove, section foreman, found a wallet belonging i to the victim.. In it were three certified cer-tified checks from a bank in Steamboat Steam-boat Springs totalling $2,250. One 1 of the checks was for $1,250, and ; the other two for $500 each. The checks were brought to the sheriff's sher-iff's office and were returned to the son before he left Provo. |
