FUNERAL HELD FOR BRILLIANT YOUNG MAN Funeral services for Darrell E. Whiting, son of Mr. and Mrs. Chaun-cey Chaun-cey W. Whiting of Springville, who died in a Salt Lake hospital Friday, were held in the Springville First ward chapel Monday afternoon, under un-der the direction of Bishop J. E. Bird. Mr. Whiting was born at Robin-son, Robin-son, Utah, November 15, 1002 and when a child of three he moved to Sprimgville with his parents and had lived there most of the time since. He received his early education in the schools of Springville and was a graduate of the American Telegraph Tele-graph college and later entered the International colleg e from which institution he graduated in 1!)24. Upon his return to Utah he was employed em-ployed by the Oregon Short Line railroad company. Surviving are his parents, who live at Springville and one sister, Mrs. Inez Bush of Pleasant Grove. Interment was In 'the Evergreen cemetery at Springville.
