Show Services today for father Funeral services are being held today (Wednesday) in the Wasatch First LDS Ward chapel, Salt Lake City at 10 a.m., and at 2 p.m., in the Provo Pro-vo LDS Ward Chapel, 651 So. Utah Ave., for Daniel W. Webster, 80, father of Mrs. Arvil (Janet C.) Bird of Springville. He died at his home in Salt Lake City Sunday Sun-day evening, of a heart ail- ment. Mr. Webster made his home in Springville for a number of years during their early married mar-ried life, when he operated a cleaning establishment here. He was a former member of the Springville Kiwanis club. After the death of his first wife, Alice Grether in 1959, he married Helen Profant. He was superintendent of the Provo Pro-vo City . Cemetery for a number num-ber of years and was active in church and civic affairs in that city. Surviving are two sons, Daniel Robert, Grenada Hills, Calif.; Grant Grether, Provo; two daughters, Mrs. Bird, Springville; nnd Mrs. Karl (Helen) Bunnell of Lander, Wyo.; a stepdaughter, Mrs. Wells (Helen) McAllister, Of Salt Lake City; a brother, George W., Bakersfield, Calif.; 19 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. Mrs. Fred (Wanda) Taylor and daughters, Toni, Jackie and JoLee are leaving Monday to make their home in Castro Valley, Calif. |
