Show Funeral rites here for J. 0. Jorgensen Funeral services were conducted con-ducted Saturday forenoon in the Second-Eighth Ward Chapel Chap-el for Jacob O. Jorgensen, 80, retired copper man, who died Wednesday of last week in a Salt Lake City rest home. Bish- op Richard K. Miner of the Second Ward was in charge. Burial was in the Spanish Fork City Cemetery directed by Wheeler Mortuary. Mr. Jorgensen was born Dec. 14, 1880, in Smithfield, Cache County, a son of Jacob and Melvina Munk Jorgensen. He married Karen Larsen in 1910 in the Salt Lake Temple. Mrs. Jorgensen died in 1956. He lived in Cache County until 1922 when he moved to McGill, Nev., where he was employed em-ployed by Kennecott Copper Corp. He retired in 1956 at the age of 75 and moved to Springville. Spring-ville. He was a high priest in the LDS Church. Surviving are three sons and two daughters: Emanuel Jorgensen, Jor-gensen, Mrs. Joe (Grace) Buz-zetti Buz-zetti and Mrs. Ben (Donna) Buzzetti all of McGill; Reed Jorgensen of Ely, Nev., and Wilbur Jorgensen of Salt Lake City; 18 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; three brothers and two sisters, Calvin and Oliver Jorgensen of Leota, Uintah County; Melvin Jorgensen Jorgen-sen of Moses Lake, Wash., Mrs. C. W. Bodily of Salt Lake City and Miss Nellie Jorgensen of California. j |
