Show Funeral Services Held Tuesday For Orson Hansen Funeral services were conducted con-ducted Tuesday afternoon in the Fourth-Tenth ward for Orson Or-son Hansen, 53, well known Springville carpenter and builder, build-er, who died of a heart attack during a deer hunting trip Saturday, in the left hand fork of Hobble Creek Canyon. Bishop Verl Whiting of the 4th ward was in charge of the services. Burial was in the Evergreen cemetery. Mr. Hansen was hunting with his wife when he collapsed. collap-sed. She summoned their sons, who were in the same area and they rushed their father to a Springville physician who pronounced pro-nounced him dead. Mr. Hansen had a previous record of heart ailknent and little or no exertion exer-tion had been involved at this particular time, investigators reported. He was born in Ft. Green, April 20, 1906, a son of Niels C. and Mary Elnora Leslie Hansen. He attended schools in Ft. Green and the family moved mov-ed to Springville when he was young. He graduated from the Springville high school and later la-ter attended the BYU. He married Eva Allen, June 3, 1930, at Mapleton. They made their home in Springville, residing at 594 East Secod No. For a number of years, Mr. Hansen was a member. of the Springville Volunteer Firemen and was a member of the. Surviving are his wife and six sons and daughters: Wayne Hansen . of Salt Lake City; Mrs.' Dean (Dorothy) Ivie, Colleen Col-leen Hansen, Lamar, Boyd and John Hansen of Springville; five grandchildren; two brothers, bro-thers, Robert Hansen ' of Or-angeville Or-angeville and Glen Hansen of Springville. |
