Show Funeral Services Held Friday for Springville Man Funeral services were held Friday, in the First ward church, for William Keith Brown, 73, resident of Springville Spring-ville since 1923, who died at Eldred Sunset Manor of a long illness. Bishop Maurice Bird of the First ward, was in charge of the services. Burial was in the Evergreeni cemetery. , Mr. Brown was born in Mt. Pleasant, Feb. 7, 1886, a son of Richard and Annie Hutchinson Hutch-inson Brown. They also lived in Carbon Car-bon county for a time and moved to Springville in 1923. They lived at 579 Swenson Ave. He was employed for a time at the Ironton and Geneva Steel plants and later worked for Springville city. He served an LDS mission during his early life in the Northern States and also served ser-ved in the bishopric at Mt. Pleasant. Surviving besides his wife are five sons and daughters, DeVon Brown of Stockton, Calif.; Mrs. Tranquilla Thomas Tho-mas and Mrs. Ed (Jean) Morgan Mor-gan of Springville; Lamont Brown of Payson and Clair Brown of Salem; 18 grandchildren; grand-children; seven brothers and sisters, Dave Brown and Mrs. Mary Hanks, Salt Lake City; Maurice Brown of Mapleton; A. E. Brown of Melba, Ida.; Alvin Brown and, Mrs. John Shelley of Nampa,' Ida.; Mrs. William Pulsipher of Provo. |
