Show Mapleton Man Dies Suddenly Of Heart Attack Funeral services were conducted con-ducted at the Mapleton ward Wednesday for Floyd R. Bird, 49, life-long resident of that city, who died Saturday afternoon after-noon of a heart attack while working on home construction. Burial was in ,the Evergreen cemetery directed by Wheeler Mortuarv. He was born Oct. 4, 1908, in Mapleton, a son of Roswell and Milinda Gallup Bird. He attended at-tended schools in Mapleton and Springville and married Naomi Blackett June 6, 1928, in Provo. Mr. Bird was a carpenter and had worked for various contractors con-tractors in this area. He was a member of the LDS church. Surviving are his widow of Mapleton; two sons and two daughters, Duane Bird of American Fork, Mrs. Claude (Shirlene) Rominger and Mrs. Ray (Doris) Bulow of Provo and Ronnie K. Bird of Mapleton; Maple-ton; five brothers and sisters, Mrs. Ellis Swasey and Lamar Bird of Mapleton; Morris Bird of Cedar City, Mrs. Vincent Brown of Provo and Mrs. Richard Perry of Yuba City, Calif. |
