Show Funeral Services Held Monday For CV.Conover . Funei'al services were held in the First-Twelfth Ward Church Monday afternoon for Charles Conover, 79, who died Friday afternoon at the Payson Hospital following a short illness. ill-ness. Bishop DelMoine Christensen Chris-tensen of the Twelfth Ward conducted the services. Burial was in the Evergreen cemetery directed by Claudin Funeral Home. Mr. Conover was born in Springville September 3, 1878, a son of John and Emma Richardson Rich-ardson Conover and received his education in the local schools. He followed farming most of his life making his home in Springville with the exception of a few years spent in Mexico. Active in LDS Church work he held the position of High Priest at the time of his death. He married Myrtle Hatch Gunnell in the Manti LDS temple tem-ple March 26, 1924. They resided resid-ed at 840 South Fourth East. Surviving besides his wife are the following sons: Charles E. Conover, Mesa, Ariz.; Chester Ches-ter W. Conover, San Francisco, Calif.; stepsons, . George M. Murdock, Los Angeles, Calif.; Frank L. Gunnell, Downey, Calif.; Arthur Gunnell, Lay ton; two daughters, Mrs. James A. (Jessie) Stephens and Mrs. Walter (Saddie) Barney both of Shreveport, La.; also 17 grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. |
