CRANDALL ' Mrs. Dora Guynion Crandall, a resident of Springville for many years, will he honored with, an open house reception, marking mark-ing her eightieth birthday, on Sunday from 2 p. m. to 6 p. m.. at her home. 82 East Third South street. The reception is being arranged by her sons and daughters, and a special invitation is extended to all her relatives and friends to call at this time. Mrs. C randall was Lorn at Fountain Green, November 23, 1S67. a daughter of James and Rhoda Guymon. She spent her early life in that community, and was married to M. E. Crandall May 18, 1SS5. in the Logan temple. Mr. Crandall died in 1926. During her early married life Mrs. Crandall lived in Fairview and in Idaho. later coming to Springville. For several years she operated a boarding house in Spring Canyon, and for a short time was manager of a floral shop at Price. An active member of the LDS church, Mrs. Crandall was president of the Second Ward Primary several years, and has also taken part in Relief Society, serving as a teacher. She has eight sons and daughters, Mrs. Dora Dee Barrett, Provo: E. Vern and Frank Crandall, Springville; Merrill G. Cran-dal. Cran-dal. American Fork; Irvvin Crandall, Las Vegas, Nev.; Mrs. Rilla Embree. Portland, Ore.; Robert Crandall, Magna; Mrs. Louise Snow, San Bernardino, Calif. There are also 34 grandchildren and 34 great grandchildren. |
