Show Kiwanis Birthday Event Observed The Springville Kiwanis club cehbiuted the eleventh year of its organization with a birthday luncheon lunch-eon and program Thursday evening. eve-ning. Dr. Nelson Beal was toast-master. toast-master. District Governor R. J.' Vaughn j of Helper spoke during the evening on Kiwanis idealsi, and Lieutenant ! Governor S. L. Mendenhall discussed dis-cussed the value of the Kiwanis magazine. E. A. Strong gave a toast lo the ladies, who were special guests during the evenbig; Mrs. V. C. Mendenhall responded. Vocal and instrumental selections were given by Mrs. R. L. Bradford and Miss Alberta Mendenhall, . respectively. Miss Edith Nash gave a reading. President Orson M. Slack of the Provo Kiwanis club and Mrs. Slack, also the widows of former Kiwanis club members were special guests including: Mrs. H. T. Reynolds, Rey-nolds, Mis. John F. MnndenhuU of Salt Lake, Mrs. E. A. Lee, Mrs. Rctta Harmer, Mrs. Ralph Smart and Mrs. M. E. Crandall. |
