Immediate attention should be given to the health and physical condition of all children yrho are to enter school. NeboSchool District is maintaining a competent school nurse for the purpose of assisting parents in caring for the health of their children yet the responsibility of maintaining that much desired condition is largely up to the parents. During the school year every child is carefully examined by the school nurse and any noticeable detects in bodily condition or any thing that .might stand in the way of perfect development are pointed out and notice sent concerning the condition to the parents. In general the response has been all that could be asked for. Yet in a tew cases carelessness or neglect or some other cause on the part of the parent has kept them from giving proper attention to the child's condition. During the summer there has been no notice sent to the parents and the temporary good health of the children might have helped parents to forget what they intended to have done last spring. In that case there is yet time and this notice may help to serve as a reminder. A new policy is being begun this fall which will do much to help parents to care for their child Just entering school for the first time. The school nurse will begin August 15th In a campaign for better health among this class of children. The following schedule of dates will Indicate when she will be at each of the school buildings.
