The city council approved the plan last night and it will be installed under the direction of the City Public Affairs committee. The system is known as the American flag outfit and consists of a 4x6 foot American flag and a 12 foot by 1 8 inch staff. Outfits will be placed at intervals of 25 feet on both sides of the strete. These outfits will be purchased by the business firms. The staff will be Installed In a small hole which will be made in the curbing. The American Legion will furnish the complete set and install it at the cost of $4.00 each.' This will make a unique beautful decoration for Main Street and meets with all rules pertaining to the etiquette of the Americcan Flag. It Is planned to have all in readiness for Memorial Day.
