Xft ^^vM%^i:>':• SF Running Club wins Wasatch Back relay Masters Divison Twelve runners from Spanish Fork and Salem joined forces to compete as a team in the Wasatch Back Relay on June 19-20. The relay started in Logan and finished in Park City. There were over 700 teams who started this 187-mile relay race and the Spanish Fork Running Team finished 11th overall and placed first in the Mens Masters Division..Their finishing time was 22 hours 18 minutes and 17 seconds. Salem recreation notes Summer Hunter Safety We are excited to offer a summer course for youth and adults that need to take hunter safety. This course will be a five-date course starting July 20. A $5 registration fee must be paid at the Salem Recreation office to be part of the class. Participants will also need to purchase a $ 10 hunter safety voucher/license prior to the class. Meeting times will be 6-9 p.m. at the Salem City Civic Center. Meeting dates are July 20, 22, 27 and 29, 2009 with the final shooting date set for Aug. 1,2009.
